Eine Projektion an der Wand bildet eine Frau in Lebensgröße ab. Sie steht in einem schwarzen Kleid barfuß auf einem Steg am Wasser der Kamera zugewandt. Das Bild wird verlangsamt, als die Frau sich rückwärts ins Wasser fallen lässt. Mit ausgebreiteten Armen prallt ihr Rücken auf die Wasseroberfläche. Dabei erfüllt ein elektronischer Sound den Raum und begleitet den Fall. Durch die Kleidung der Frau, die Langsamkeit und den Sound wird eine narrative Ebene erzeugt, die den Betrachter in seinen Bann zieht. Die Konfrontation des Körpers in Lebensgröße lässt eine besondere Nähe zum Betrachter entstehen, welche Raum für Identifikation mit der Figur schafft. Der Sound, der an einen heulenden Wind erinnert, scheint das Wasser und das Kleid der Frau gleichermaßen zu berühren. Dadurch wird eine geheimnisvolle Atmosphäre kreiert, die die beiden Elemente –die Frau und das Wasser – trotz ihrer Unterschiedlichkeit miteinander verbindet. Das Abtauchen der Figur, als Höhepunkt der Arbeit leitet den ebenso signifikanten Moment des Wiederauftauchens an der Oberfläche ein.

The image decelerates when the woman lets herself fall backwards into the water. With open arms her back splashes onto the surface of the water. Meanwhile an electronic sound fills the room and accompanies the falling act. Due to the clothing of the woman, the slowness and the sound, a poetic narration is being created, which grabs the viewers attention. The confrontation with the body in life-size displays a special intimacy towards the viewer, that leaves space for identification with the character. The sound recalls a whining wind and it seems to touch the water and the dress of the character at the same time. With that a certain mystical atmosphere is created, that embodies the two elements and apart from their dissimilarity unifies them. The drowning of the figure as the climax of the work initiates the even so significant moment of her reoccurring on the surface.
